New for 2024, The Engine Shed Gallery and Shop will be open to the public showcasing art and design from local artists, emerging artists, community art groups, schools and colleges.
The aim of The Engine Shed is to promote positive creativity at grass roots level.
The space is available to community art groups, schools and colleges free of charge for exhibitions.
Our residents will have a yearly calendar of exhibitions for the benefit of the community.
Local and emerging artists are able to rent the gallery space at very competitive prices.
The Shop at the front of the gallery will sell artwork, crafts, art supplies and associated literature.
The Gallery space will also host a range of workshops throughout the year.
Alongside The Engine Shed is the Annexe, a space which can be rented by the hour to host classes such as yoga and wellbeing as well as for workshops of longer duration eg. craft sessions and creative writing.
